Job Summary
The Assistant Guest Services Manager will be responsible for assisting the Guest Services Manager in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the Valet operations. The Assistant Guest Services Manager will proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes proactive greeting and thanking each guest.
  2. Assist the Guest Services Manager in coordinating all activities related to valet operation.
  3. Recommend measures to improve performance, guest satisfaction and increase efficiency.
  4. Perform Evolution and Forbes Standards training as required.
  5. Assist the Guest Service Manager perform the “Daily Huddle” during all shifts.
  6. Authorize and manage break schedules and other shift options as required.
  7. Ensure standards of professionalism and cleanliness are always maintained.
  8. Recruit qualified applicants for each position; ensuring adequate staff meet operational requirements.
  9. Provide feedback to Guest Service Manager for associate performance reviews and driving evaluations.
  10. Provide input on personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, disciplinary measures, and termination.
  11. Always ensure quality assurance and management visibility to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
  12. Motivate and persuade team members to provide exceptional service.
  13. Assist Guest Services Manager monitor and enforce established dress code and hygiene guidelines, including being properly identified, are consistently applied, and followed.
  14. Prepare schedules and compile payroll data as requested by Guest Services Manager.
  15. Assist with processing deposit verifications and audit cash flow, tip pool, ticket counts, key counts, car counts, and management-approved complimentary parking.
  16. Conduct lot inspections and suggest functional improvements as requested by Guest Services Manager.
  17. Assist Guest Services Manager with prompt investigation of claims, providing support whether denied or approved.
  18. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required

  1. Associates Degree, High School Diploma or GED required, or relevant working experience.
  2. Understanding of general business practices including accounting, human resources, and customer service.

Minimum Experience Required

  1. Experience in valet parking.
  2. Valid US Drivers License.
  3. 2+ years in a management position.
  4. Experience with HRIS platforms, such as ADP.
  5. Experience with Customer Service.

  1. Strong customer service and client relationship skills.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Strong technology proficiency.
  4. Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and able to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
