Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of our busiest store teams. You will assist the Grocery Manager in merchandising, inventory control, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise the Grocery team, coordinate scheduling, training, and development, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and play a key role in driving store productivity and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience 1–3 years.
• Must be 18+ with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Leadership to motivate and manage staff.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that delivers high quality products and the best customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure the execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment and contribute to the team.
