Pelican Lakes Golf Club in Windsor, CO seeks an Assistant Golf Superintendent to lead daily golf course maintenance, irrigation, and equipment care. You will work with the Superintendent to plan agronomic/operational activities, hire and train staff, and ensure course conditions meet high standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in an assistant role or turf tech, with experience managing crews, pesticides, and irrigation systems.

Qualifications

• Three to five years as Assistant Superintendent or lead Turf Tech, incl. two+ years turf management.
• Experience in golf course operations and staff management.
• High school diploma or GED; relevant certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance schedules.
• Interview, hire, supervise, train, and retain staff.
• Supervise maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and cart paths.
• Calibrate and apply pesticides; monitor applications.
• Oversee irrigation, pumps, and drainage; coordinate repairs.
• Lead safety practices and report on course conditions and priorities.
• Possible role as Superintendent in their absence.
