Pinnacle Peak Country Club in North Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Seasonal PGA Assistant Professional to join our golf team. The successful candidate delivers personalized member service, supports day-to-day golf operations, and helps manage events and tournaments.

Experience as PGA Associate or member in progress is preferred. Responsibilities include tee sheet management, starting groups, staff coordination, merchandising support, and ensuring a welcoming, secure environment for members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage tee sheet operations and start groups from the starting tee and rangering the course.
• Oversee staff duties, update daily checklists, and scheduling.
• Answer phones and assist with merchandise checkout.
• Organize and run golf events including Men’s PEAK, Women’s 9’ers and WGA and seasonal leagues.
• Assist in tournament operations for the golf membership (setup, scoring, visuals).
• Support merchandising with special orders and inventory.
• Ensure members and guests have an enjoyable time and manage access to the course.
• Communicate with members and staff professionally; showcase playing ability when golfing with members.

Overview

Pinnacle Peak Country Club is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Seasonal PGA Assistant Professional to join our golf team at a premier private club in North Scottsdale, Arizona. This position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to our members and their guests while supporting the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a polished golf professional who takes pride in personalized member service, understands golf operations well, and thrives in a team-oriented, high-service private-club environment.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or PGA Professional preferred; candidates actively pursuing PGA membership are encouraged to apply

Essential Responsibilities

• Help with day-to-day operations, including:
  • Managing the tee sheet
  • Starting groups off the starting tee and rangering the course
  • Managing staff responsibilities, including updating daily checklists and scheduling
  • Answering phones
  • Checking out merchandise
• Organizes and runs golf events which include Men's PEAK and Women's 9'ers and WGA, as well as seasonal leagues.
• Assist in tournaments operations for the entire golf membership(set-up, scoring, organization, visuals, etc.).
  • Tournaments at PPCC:
    • Men's Member-Member (2 events)
    • Ladies Member-Member
    • Men's Member-Guest (2 events)
    • Ladies Member-Guest
    • Club Championships (Men's, Senior, Ladies, and Niners)
    • Masters Tournament
    • Couples Compromise Cup
    • King of the Peak
• Help the merchandising team with special orders and inventory
• Ensures that members and guests have an enjoyable time while on the golf course and enforces security for members and guests pertaining to who is and is not to be on the golf course.
• Communicates membership complaints to the Director of Golf or Head Professional.
• Communicates with members, co-workers, management, and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Showcases playing ability while golfing with members
• Conforms to and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of Pinnacle Peak Country Club.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf and/or Head Professional.
