Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah seeks a driven Assistant Golf Professional to join Troon’s golf operations. This full-time role supports daily shop duties, sales, and guest relations while learning and growing in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will assist with tee sheets and handicap administration, promote club activities, coordinate outings, and help with merchandising. A valid driver’s license and basic MS Office skills are required; commitment to teamwork and safety is

Qualifications

• AA degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Experience with computerized POS.
• Experience with tee time system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations including sales, merchandise, POS and handicap/tee sheet management.
• Reconcile tee sheets, process payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Promote club golf activities and events.
• Create lesson plans and provide instruction.
• Maintain golf shop and assist with merchandising and sales.
• Coordinate golf outings and scorecards.
• Monitor handicapping and billing for members.
• Assist with associate training and safety.
• Perform other duties as required.
