The ideal candidate will have knowledge of golf operations, pursue PGA membership, and bring strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Golf Genius and database systems is a plus.

Qualifications

The Position | Full-time Assistant Golf Professional opportunity at Mill Creek Country Club in Mill Creek, Washington. The role is suited for a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf property organization.

Experience Required

• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of golf operations
• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf and rules of golf
• Motivated to continue to learn and develop
• Maintain or currently work toward PGA of America membership in good standing in an active classification
• Knowledge of golf facility operations and tournament operations
• Fundamental supervisory practices and principles
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
• Service- and customer-focused attitude
• Experience in written and oral business communications
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet, Golf Genius, and database systems
• Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
• If not a PGA Member, actively pursue PGA membership through the PGA Professional Golf Management program in a timely manner
