Mill Creek Country Club in Mill Creek, WA, part of Troon, is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to join a hospitality-focused team. The role emphasizes learning, contributing, and growing within a fast-paced environment under Troon’s global leadership in golf and community management.

Ideal candidates will have a college degree (preferred), knowledge of golf operations and the rules, and a demonstrated desire to develop as a PGA professional.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Experience Required

• College Degree (Preferred)
  
• Knowledge of Golf Operations
  
• Must have fundamental knowledge and familiarity for the game of golf and rules of golf
  
• Candidates must be motivated to continue to learn and develop
  
• Maintain or currently working toward PGA of America membership in good standing in an active classification
  
• Knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations
  
• Fundamental supervisory practices and principles
  
• Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
  
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  
• Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
  
• Service and customer focused attitude
  
• Experienced in written and oral business communications
  
• Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, golf genius and database
  
• Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
  
• If not a PGA Member, actively pursue PGA membership (if a PGA Associate) in a timely manner through the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGA PGM) program
