Job summary

Streamsong Golf Resort in Streamsong, FL is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Head Golf Professional with golf shop operations and outside services. You will ensure pass-holders, members and guests receive outstanding service and help organize golf events, tournaments, outings, leagues, and clinics.

The role requires handling cash flow, supervising staff, maintaining shop and grounds, planning lessons, and coordinating tournaments and special events to enhance our products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Must be enrolled in PGA Professional Management Program.
• Minimum one-year experience in golf or hospitality industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in retailing, marketing and sales, customer service, and guest relations preferred.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company policies for golf shop and outside services.
• Handle cash flow in the golf shop and balance receipts.
• Monitor performance of golf shop attendants, starters, rangers, and outside staff.
• Maintain shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Assist with physical inventory and month-end procedures.
• Track golf rounds, customer preferences, and satisfaction to drive improvement.
• Interact with pass-holders, members, and guests professionally.
• Schedule tee times and handle inquiries and complaints per policies.
• Plan and conduct individual and group lessons and clinics.
• Organize tournaments, outings, and special events; coordinate shop and cart services.
• Be knowledgeable of merchandise and upsell to meet guest needs.
• Maintain ancillary services like handicapping, memberships, and driving range.
• Submit reports accurately and timely.
