TPC San Antonio, part of PGA TOUR, Inc., is seeking a golf course maintenance supervisor to lead the maintenance crew, ensure high course conditions, and oversee daily operations. Based at our Texas Hill Country resort, you will report to the Director Golf Course Maintenance Operations.
Responsibilities include recruiting, training, scheduling, safety enforcement, and managing equipment and expenses within budget.
Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, TPC San Antonio is a private resort, accessible exclusively to Members, their guests and guests of the adjoining JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. TPC San Antonio opened in January 2010 with two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by two of golf’s most innovative architects: Pete Dye and Greg Norman. Both courses have played host to TOUR events with The Oaks course serving as the host venue of the PGA TOUR’s Valero Texas Open since 2010.

Directly supervises the Golf Course Maintenance crew and assists in the daily supervision of golf course maintenance operations. Assumes responsibility for department in the absence of the Director Golf Course Maintenance Operations and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I.
Associate or Bachelor degree in turf management or related field or trades training and work related experience in turf management. Knowledge of general business administration practices as applied to golf course operations practices and procedures as would be acquired through one to two years golf course maintenance experience in progressively responsible positions. Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required. Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices necessary.
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. An essential function of the job is to be able to comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
