Job summary

Chandler Park Golf Course in Detroit, MI, a Troon-managed property, seeks a Full-Time Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and drive service excellence. The role reports to the General Manager and supports policy implementation, staff development, and customer-focused processes.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in golf, a four-year degree, and proficiency with Excel/Access/Word and POS systems. PGA membership or apprentice status preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in the golf industry.
• PGA Membership or PGA registered apprentice in good standing.
• Experience running a professional, service-oriented operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer all aspects of the operation on a daily basis.
• Coordinate policies defined by ownership and Troon.
• Process customer reservations and maintain daily reports.
• Assist in hiring, developing and supervising management staff.
• Ensure course policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversee Pro-Shop operations and community relations.
