Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Red Bank, NJ, seeks an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth day-to-day operations and to develop entry-level managers. The role offers learning opportunities in management, judgment, and discretion across store-level operations.

You will lead with strong teamwork, drive performance, and uphold brand standards while fostering a positive guest experience and staff development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, and coach shift supervisors.
• Step in during the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during challenging times.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion and enforce policies.
• Ensure brand standards and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean, inviting restaurant appearance aligned with brand standards.
• Ensure accurate cash management and daily reporting.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts to ensure data accuracy.
