Job summary

Cafe Zupas is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Tempe to lead daily restaurant operations and develop a positive, guest-focused team. You’ll oversee front or back of house, mentor staff, and foster a culture of gratitude while coordinating smooth, well-organized shifts.

Expect a five-day set schedule with no Sundays, ongoing training, and opportunities for career progression toward General Manager. Benefits include a quarterly bonus plan and 401K.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant or retail industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Restaurant management is a plus.
• Available to work a five day set schedule.
• Experience mentoring a team.
• Detail-oriented, growth minded, and a self-starter.
• Enthusiastic, positive, and genuine.
• Learns quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant (front or back of house).
