Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and oversee day-to-day operations at our locations. This role offers hands-on training in leadership, goal setting, coaching, and building a productive team.

You will ensure brand standards, cash handling, customer service, and smooth store performance while maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Ensure brand standards and procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, inviting restaurant appearance and accurate cash handling.
• Address customer needs and sustain positive relationships.
• Conduct spot inventory counts to ensure data accuracy.
