Job summary

Dukart Management LLC, a franchise partner of McDonald's, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and develop future General Managers. You will work with the General Manager to ensure smooth shifts, support team members, and deliver fast, accurate, and friendly guest service.

You will oversee training, food safety, inventory management, and people development while driving sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and training.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage operations, inventory, and financial records.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, including resolving escalated guest issues.
• Ability to uphold and enforce company policies and standards.
• Restaurant or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts to deliver a great guest experience.
• Support department areas such as Guest Experience, Kitchen Operations, and People Development.
• Guest Experience: ensure hospitality, organized service areas, and promotion execution.
• Kitchen Operations: maintain food safety, quality, speed, and train staff on procedures.
• People Development: assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy to recover guest experiences.
• Monitor performance metrics, set goals, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Manage inventory, cash control, and operational systems to support profitability.
• Promote a positive work environment aligned with culture of respect, teamwork, and accountability.
• Partner with General Manager to identify opportunities for operational and people improvement.
