Anna’s House in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations of a busy breakfast, brunch, and lunch diner. You will work closely with the General Manager to mentor staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold our standards of service and quality.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment. You'll manage scheduling, inventory, cost control, and guest relations while contributing to sales growth and a positive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive leadership in high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent hospitality and guest-service mindset.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling, inventory, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
• Build memorable guest experiences with warmth and quick resolution of concerns.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, safety, cleanliness, and standards.
• Help drive sales growth through marketing initiatives and guest satisfaction.
