Job summary

Aventuraannarbor is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our dining room and deliver exceptional service in downtown Ann Arbor. You will set the tone for shifts, coach the team in real time, and ensure guests enjoy a warm, seamless experience that defines our hospitality.

You will actively manage service flow, guest engagement, and operational readiness across openings and closings, while maintaining a strong guest-focused culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in a service leadership role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, dining room operations, and guest recovery.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dining room from open to close, manage service flow and guest experience.
• Coach and develop team members in real time to uphold standards.
• Oversee shift operations, POS transactions, cash handling, and restaurant readiness.
• Resolve guest and operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain a floor presence and ensure service sequence is executed.
