Job summary

Live! Hospitality & Entertainment is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Sports & Social Cary venue. You will lead daily operations, oversee staff, and uphold service standards in a high-energy sports bar environment.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of leadership experience in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required, and 21+ ages are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day venue operations and staffing.
• Maintain professional image, cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Manage cash controls, inventory, labor, and financial reporting.
• Oversee food/beverage stock and safety/compliance.
• Recruit, interview and hire supervisory and hourly staff; train and motivate.
• Ensure safe guest environment and security.
• Assist GM with vendor contracts and admin duties.
• Ensure daily deposits are accurate and cash handling procedures followed.
