Job summary

Marco’s Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading the team, maintaining high standards, and helping grow sales and profitability.

The AGM will supervise shifts, train staff, manage schedules, uphold food safety and customer service, and drive store performance while fostering a positive team environment. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Restaurant management or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Dependable and able to take ownership of the store.
• Comfortable coaching and holding employees accountable.
• Pizza or quick-service restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and keep the restaurant running smoothly.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members.
• Help create and manage employee schedules.
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure food quality, portioning, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
• Monitor labor, food costs, inventory, and waste.
• Assist with ordering and inventory management.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
• Help improve sales, customer satisfaction, and store performance.
• Hold employees accountable while creating a positive team environment.
• Step in for the General Manager when needed.
