Roots Natural Kitchen in Columbus, OH is hiring an Assistant General Manager for the Polaris store. The role oversees either FOH or BOH operations, coaches team members, and ensures daily tasks, training, and brand standards are met to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must show empathy for crew members and customers.

• Strong desire and proven track record of learning and coaching.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Prior management experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Experience with restaurant management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn, qualify, and master all functional positions within your store segment.
• Manage shifts and train others to deliver excellent customer and employee experiences.
• Oversee daily administrative tasks and maintain brand standards.
• Promote Roots culture and ensure a positive, engaging environment for the crew.
• Lead by example and guide team through effective communication and coaching.
• Plan labor and schedule to ensure adequate coverage during sales fluctuations.
• Support onboarding, training, and orientation of new employees.
