Job summary

Qualifications

• Coaching experience preferred, with ability to lead and motivate student-athletes.

• Familiarity with Kearney School District and MSHSSA guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Help lead practice with a schedule of activities and drills.
• Attend all practices, games, and competitions and supervise athletes.
• Report issues to the Activities Director and Head Coach promptly.
• Assist in equipment care, inventory, and storage; coordinate events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Helps lead practice with a schedule of activities

Attends all practices/games/competition

Reports to the Activities Director and/or Head Coach any problems or concerns

Attends meetings as required by Activities Director

Assist in the care of equipment and facilities

Assist in collection, inventory, and storage of equipment and uniforms

Plans banquet and awards for the athletes, facility improvements, equipment to be purchased, schedule improvements, etc.

Supervisory Duties

Supervises all athletes at contests and locker room

Qualifications

Education/Experience

1. Coaching experience preferred

2. Athletic/sport experience in High School and/or College preferred

3. Good health & physical condition must be able to lift 50 pounds

4. Knowledge of Kearney School District and MSHSSA guidelines

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

1. CPR and First Aid certified

2. Missouri Teacher Certificate and/or DESE Substitute Certificate
