Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Girls Swim Coach at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor. This non-contractual hourly position reports to the Athletic Director and supports coaching staff, students, and parents during practices and competitions.

Responsibilities include implementing coaching strategies, attending clinics, and ensuring compliance with district policies. CPR/First Aid certification may be required and collaboration with staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport.
• Ability to obtain current CPR / First Aid/ Lifeguard Certification when applicable.
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff parents and school staff.

NON-CONTRACTUAL (HOURLY) STAFF HIRED WILL BECOME AN EMPLOYEE OF PCMI (THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR).

CURRENT CONTRACT STAFF WILL REMAIN ON PAYROLL WITH AAPS.

SALARY: (Depending on Experience) (POSITION TOTAL POINTS AND SALARY MAY BE SHARED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR.)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport.
• Ability to obtain current CPR / First Aid/ Lifeguard Certification when applicable.
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff parents and school staff
