Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools seeks a JV Boys Head Water Polo Coach for Huron High School. The role is hourly and non-contractual, reporting to the Athletic Director. The coach will guide athletes, uphold league rules, and support student development across the season from August 1 through November 20.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, understand sport techniques and safety, and can obtain CPR/First Aid when applicable. Collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport.
• Ability to obtain CPR / First Aid / Lifeguard Certification when applicable.
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff, parents and school staff.

• Demonstrates effective management of pre-contest details.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Athletic Director

NON-CONTRACTUAL (HOURLY)

STAFF HIRED WILL BECOME AN EMPLOYEE OF PCMI (THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR). CURRENT CONTRACT STAFF WILL REMAIN ON PAYROLL WITH AAPS.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
