Helena Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Girls Soccer Coach for the 2027-2028 season at Capital High School. The role requires dedication to growth as a coach, participation in MHSA coaching certification, and completion of required safety trainings.

Applicants should be capable of working with youth to promote a positive environment, with a background check before employment. Background and candidate screening will be conducted per district policy.

Qualifications

• Attain camps, clinics and opportunities to learn current coaching trends and techniques.
• Ability to work with youth and promote a positive environment.
• Complete First Aid/CPR certification recommended.
• Complete MHSA Coaches Certification Program.
• Review and follow the HPS Student and Activity Handbook.
• Complete the CDC concussion training required by MHSA.

Responsabilités

• Assist in coaching the girls soccer program at Capital High School.
• Support team development and instructional practices.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure safe, positive experiences for athletes.

Helena School District # 1 is accepting applications for an Assistant Girls Soccer Coach.

• Seek growth as a coach/advisor by attending camps, clinics and pursuingother opportunities to learn current trends and teaching techniques in the activity.
• Ability to work with kids and promote a positive environment.
• Recommended completion of First Aid/CPR Certification
• Complete and maintain MHSA Coaches Certification Program
• Complete and understand the HPS Student and Activity Handbook.
• Complete the CDC concussion training session required by the MHSA.

Stipend amount is $2,478.45

Position will remain open until filled.
