Assistant General Manager – Double Cut Steakhouse

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Double Cut Steakhouse. Double Cut Steakhouse is more than just a steakhouse—it’s a destination where culinary craftsmanship and immersive hospitality come together. With a menu featuring expertly prepared double-cut steaks, fresh seafood, tender chops, and hearty vegetables, we take pride in offering a bold and refined dining experience. Our modern, thoughtfully designed space serves as the backdrop for unforgettable meals and genuine guest connections. We're looking for a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our team, uphold our standards of excellence, and ensure every guest leaves with a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Lead, train, and manage front-of-house staff to uphold service standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, budgeting, and cost control
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies
• Collaborate with the General Manager and culinary team on promotions and service enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of front-of-house operations and/or assistant management experience in a hotel or resort setting are preferred, with a background in food and beverage knowledge.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant and staff supervisory experience are necessary.
• Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and controlling labor/food costs.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, inventory tools, and reporting dashboards.
