Job summary

Taziki's Café in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations, supervise the team, and ensure guest satisfaction while achieving cost goals.

You will master the menu, coordinate scheduling, mentor staff, and uphold health, safety, and service standards in a fast-paced, high-quality Mediterranean environment. Morning to evening shifts offered with no late nights or early mornings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years management experience.
• Food Manager certification shortly after start.
• Knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Proficient with Google Suite and basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic with guest-first attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM guidance to hit cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge; serve guests and build connections.
• Set shift tone, give clear directions, and supervise staff.
• Mentor staff, manage quality, motivation, training, and evaluations.
• Support or cover stations as needed, including kitchen.
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new hires.
• Follow cash handling procedures and food safety standards.
• Maintain Health Department standards and alcohol handling policies.
• Ensure proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
