Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking motivated restaurant managers in Virginia to lead daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold brand standards.

You will supervise shifts, develop staff, manage costs, and collaborate with the GM to drive performance while maintaining health and safety compliance. This role requires leadership and a passion for fresh Mediterranean fare.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1–3 years of management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and help reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team.
• Set the tone for shifts and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor staff, manage quality, motivate, train, and evaluate.
• Support or work stations as needed (kitchen included).
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department standards throughout shifts.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and food handling/storage.
• Maintain hygiene, appearance, and uniforms.

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
