Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking a store manager to lead daily operations in Owens Cross Roads, AL. You will oversee staffing, cost control, and guest experience, while partnering with the GM to meet financial targets.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train and motivate a team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling and meet cost goals

• Oversee restaurant and team performance
• Set shift tone and give clear directions to staff
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage training and evaluations
• Support kitchen operations when needed
• Assist GM with interviewing and onboarding new employees
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintain Health Department standards and alcohol handling policies
• Ensure proper food handling and storage and maintain hygiene standards

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing your store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working
• Setting the tone for the shift, and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm*
• Mid shift - 10am - 8pm*
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm*
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
