Job description

The client is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Revenue Development to provide high-level strategic direction for maximizing and diversifying revenue streams. In this executive role, the assistant general manager will design and execute an aggressive revenue strategy across traditional ridership fares, asset monetization, real estate development, and public-private partnerships, with the overarching objective of supporting long-term financial sustainability and capital growth.

Key responsibilities include overseeing farebox revenue strategy, including fare collection systems, pricing approaches, ridership analytics, and fare equity initiatives. The role will also lead transit-oriented development initiatives by collaborating with developers, municipal leaders, and stakeholders to convert client properties into high-yield, transit-connected community hubs, and will direct the valuation, leasing, and revenue optimization of physical and digital assets, including real estate and connectivity infrastructure such as fiber and cellular tower opportunities.

Additional responsibilities cover expanding institutional sales through scalable pass and partnership programs involving universities and corporate enrollment, managing advertising and partnership activities such as digital signage networks, naming rights opportunities, and corporate sponsorships, and identifying, negotiating, and executing complex public-private partnership agreements. The assistant general manager will also serve as a key incubator for new revenue channels and innovation, exploring emerging technology markets and data-driven monetization opportunities, while qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and extensive progressive executive experience leading large-scale revenue generation, commercial real estate development, or corporate finance operations, including senior executive capacity managing multiple operational areas and demonstrating success with multi-million-dollar budgets and complex commercial or partnership transactions.
