Wendy's in Austin seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a high‑volume team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will help manage daily restaurant operations, coach staff, and maintain financial controls while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts incl weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver's license and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening and eligibility to work in the country.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the General Manager, support daily restaurant operations.
• Oversee operations and maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, and train.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met; set a fun family tone.
