Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a high-volume dining venue in New Jersey.

The AGM will work closely with the GM, running shifts, coaching staff, and upholding service standards in the GM's absence. The ideal candidate has AGM or restaurant management experience, strong beverage knowledge, and a proven track record of maintaining cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational controls while fostering a positive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in AGM or restaurant management with leadership role.
• Strong beverage knowledge and guest-focused service mindset.
• Proven ability to coach staff, manage shifts, and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM with daily restaurant operations.
• Independently run shifts and manage the restaurant.
• Coach and develop employees.
• Maintain service and hospitality standards.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
• Handle guest concerns and recovery.
• Assist with training and onboarding.
• Help maintain inventory and operational controls.
• Communicate issues and opportunities to the GMTake ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution
