Job summary

Aviator Nation in Nashville is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee daily operations, staff performance, and guest experience. Working with the General Manager, you will manage scheduling, inventory, and administrative workflows to ensure a smooth venue operation.

This role requires 3–6 years of management experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in a management role.
• Proven time management and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication across staff and management.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack.
• Sound decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of POS systems and hospitality software.
• Demonstrated experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting.
• Ability to interpret and enforce company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions to ensure smooth venue execution.
• Manage staff availability, publish schedules, and maintain timecards and personnel records.
• Open/close cash registers, perform cash drops, process invoices, and manage tip allocation.
• Train, supervise, delegate tasks to FOH/BOH staff; onboard/offboard as needed.
• Maintain communication with the team via Slack and document venue conditions for records.
• Oversee Dreamland inventory, maintain counts, and report on inventory.
• Maintain a visible, customer-forward presence to ensure premier service and guest satisfaction.
• Open and close the venue adhering to security standards and procedures.
