Job summary

OnTrac is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Logan Township, NJ to lead warehouse operations and strategic initiatives. You will report to the Hub Director and oversee performance, staffing, and project delivery across the facility.

The role requires a strong track record in management, contractor coordination, and logistics, with experience in last-mile or small parcel operations highly valued. A comprehensive benefits package is offered along with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 8 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report to the Regional Operations and General Managers
• Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, coaching and developing staff
• Ensure adherence to the contract and manage relationships with vendors and independent contractors
