Job summary

OnTrac is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Logan Township, NJ, to provide strategic leadership and oversee warehouse operations. You will manage the facility's direction, coordinate performance, and supervise both hourly and salaried staff within the unit and any satellite projects.

Ideally you have 8+ years of management experience (2+ in a similar industry) and a background in logistics or related fields.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team.
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of services.
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report to Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, coaching and developing staff and managing productivity.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms and coordinate with vendors/independent contractors.

Pay: $115,280 to $172,920 annually, depending on experience.

Shift: TBD (Hours subject to change based on the needs of the business)

As the Assistant General Manager at OnTrac, you will report to the Hub Director. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the units and team members within the facility. As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee the operations, as well as any satellite projects, as necessary.

• Ensure adherences to all aspects of the contract and work with vendors and Independent contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
