Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in running day-to-day operations. This role offers an entry-level path into management with hands-on experience in leading a team and upholding brand standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and strong communication. You will help manage staff, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to a positive guest experience across our locations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and people-management abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coaching of shifts supervisors.
• Step in during the General Manager’s absence and maintain operations.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale and engagement.
• Ensure policies, brand standards, and procedures are followed.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory checks, and daily reporting.
