Hyatt House Sterling/Dulles Airport-North is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will supervise multiple departments, drive profitability, manage costs, and mentor staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Five+ years progressive hotel experience in Rooms or F&B, or a combination with degrees.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain objectivity.
• Certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments and drive hotel profitability with General Manager collaboration.
• Identify and address daily operational challenges to ensure smooth hotel flow.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff; support development programs for all teammates.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues and guests to ensure consistent service.
• Work with financial data to support hotel operations and profitability.
• Utilize Windows OS for management and reporting tasks.
• Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards across staff.
• Provide a friendly, service-focused attitude to guests and teammates.
