Job summary

Clark’s Oyster Bar in Montecito, CA, part of MML Hospitality, seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead daily service, maintain guest experiences, and uphold brand standards. You will mentor FOH staff, oversee hiring and training, manage labor and beverage controls, and collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless operations.

This role requires CA experience, a Bachelor's preferred, and CA Food Handler and RBS before start; competitive salary 95k–115k plus bonus and

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive restaurant management experience in California.
• Experience leading front-of-house teams and managing guest service standards.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, labor scheduling, and beverage inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations and guest experiences with a high-visibility presence.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage performance of FOH staff.
• Oversee labor scheduling, inventory controls, and cost management; support P&L oversight.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and BOH to ensure seamless service timing and standards.
• Enforce brand quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards across dining room, bar, and patio.
