Taco Bell in Arlington, VA is looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead by example, uphold brand standards, and inspire a dynamic team. You'll train, coach, and recognize top performers while handling daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions, and driving excellence.

This role includes a 50-hour week with 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control procedures, inventory, labor, and reviewing financial reports
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources
• Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant
• Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the GM in the hiring process
• Possess strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and training

Responsibilities

• Model MIC Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction and prioritize customer needs
• Oversee Shift Excellence, food safety, and Core standards during GM's absence
• Collaborate with the GM to assess team performance and provide feedback
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members
• Support Profit & Loss management, including cash control, inventory, and labor
• Review financial reports and drive improvements in performance
• Support health and safety standards across the restaurant
