Wendy's Baytown is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. You will focus on achieving sales goals, maintaining operations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, weekends and holidays.
• Valid DL and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent; eligible to work in the country.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under General Manager guidance.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
