Job summary

Costa Vida is seeking an Assistant General Manager 1 in Gilbert, AZ to supervise restaurant operations and drive the guest experience. You’ll ensure food safety, staff training, and adherence to brand standards while supporting the restaurant’s business plan.

You will work closely with the Operator, delegate tasks to AGM2, and manage schedules and performance to maximize guest satisfaction and sales. This role requires up to 50 hours weekly and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Familiarity with basic computer software and MS Office.
• Bi-lingual abilities considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for providing the ultimate guest experience.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and guest satisfaction.
• Trains employees and develops the restaurant team to Costa Vida standards.
• Manages inventory, food safety and QA programs.
• Develops and executes a business plan to achieve financial goals.
• Leads by example and delegates to AGM2 while seeking guidance from the Operator.
