Job summary

Chicken N Pickle in North Kansas City is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM in directing operations across all departments. You will focus on execution, operational excellence, and developing the management team, stepping in for the GM when needed.

This role requires 3+ years in high-volume hospitality, strong leadership, and solid F&B knowledge. You will lead pre-shift meetings, coach staff, manage staffing and costs, and ensure brand standards and safety guidelines are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a large team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong F&B knowledge and experience with safety and liquor regulations.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software (HotSchedules, POS, inventory).

Responsibilities

• Support GM in directing operations across all departments including Pickleball, Events, Kitchen, and Service.
• Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations; manage guest recovery and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol laws.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and controlling labor costs.
• Create weekly/monthly financial reports and manage inventory.
