Job summary

High Tide in Brooklyn's Fulton Ferry Landing seeks an exceptional Assistant General Manager with upscale, high-volume restaurant experience to lead the venue.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will schedule and manage service staff, uphold health and safety standards, and mentor front- and back-of-house teams. The role requires nights, weekends, holidays, and a minimum 50-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience in an Assistant General Manager role overseeing annual revenues of $3 million or more.
• Experience managing a team of 30+ hourly employees in a high-volume environment.
• Proven track record of opening a new restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight and lead by example to boost morale and service quality.
• Maintain health and safety practices, logs, and compliance with DOH standards.
• Lead scheduling and staff development to ensure guest satisfaction and efficiency.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, manage inventory, and control costs.
• Foster collaboration between back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
