Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hospitality management company, is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Hyatt Place in Boulder, CO. The role focuses on leading hotel operations, optimizing profitability, and ensuring adherence to brand and company standards.

You will oversee front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance while driving guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
• Knowledge of financial statements and budgets including staffing guidelines.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service as measured by guest satisfaction.
• Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems to improve operations.
• Ability to embrace property safety programs including training and incentives.
• Displays initiative, perseverance and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance activities.
• Maximize ADR and occupancy.
• Coordinate communications between Sales and Operating departments.
• Motivate, coach, and train department supervisors.
• Understand financial statements and budgeting including staffing guidelines.
• Control department head schedules, expenses and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Guide and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations.
• Manage all aspects of the safety program including training and reporting.
• Maintain a cooperative and positive work environment.
