Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and develop entry-level managers. The role focuses on coaching, workflow oversight, and maintaining brand standards across the service locations.

You will lead a team, manage shifts, and ensure customer needs are met while supporting store performance and safe food handling. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives clearly.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff and coaching of shift supervisors.
• Motivate staff during times of low morale and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered as directed.
• Resolve customer needs and build long-term relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through spot counts.
