Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Hospitality division seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering exceptional food service operations. You will oversee safety and sanitation programs, foster team development, and integrate dining services with the facility plan.

Strong leadership and budget management are essential. Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of upscale food service experience, multi-unit management exposure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in upscale food service and multi-unit management is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations with General Manager to meet client expectations and budget.
• Lead safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Hire, train, and coach staff; conduct regular meetings and training.
• Manage food costs, purchasing, and inventory controls.
• Oversee menu planning in collaboration with chefs and monitor compliance with HACCP standards.
