Job summary

Bojangles Restaurants Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead teams and drive traffic, sales, and profitability while maintaining a customer-centric culture in our restaurants.

You will partner with the General Manager to develop and guide staff, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and uphold BoFood and BoLabor standards in fast-paced environments. This role requires leadership, coaching ability, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation.
• Available to work any shift, 7 days a week, with a required 50-hour work week.
• Prior supervisory experience with a coaching mindset.
• Previous onboarding experience with employees at all levels.
• Prior Microsoft Office Experience
• Prior cash handling and bank deposit experience
• Ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, stand, kneel frequently lifting 25+lbs.

Responsibilities

• People: Creates an inviting culture in the store, a place where team members feel respected and valued. Seek growth opportunities for development. Communicates effectively with guests. Tends to onboarding of new team members. Demonstrates Cultural Principles in interactions.
• Performance: Adheres to all systems and processes including BoFood and BoLabor. Maintains standards and takes corrective action. Empowers team to WOW guests with every interaction. Reduces R&M through manager walks, process execution, and timely escalation.
• Profit: Understands restaurant P&L results. Sees how quality, service, and cleanliness affect sales. Participates in inventory management. Follows safety and security standards. Engages in LTO throughout its lifecycle, including training and POP deadlines.
