Job summary

KBP Brands, parent of KFC franchise KBP Foods, is hiring an Assistant General Manager for a fast-paced restaurant in Virginia. You’ll lead a team, deliver exceptional guest service, and ensure operational excellence while advancing through our internal leadership programs.

You’ll oversee daily operations, manage inventory and labor costs, enforce safety and quality standards, and mentor staff toward growth.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach your team to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly to ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain KFC’s standards for food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve challenges that arise during your shift.
