Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in West Columbia, SC, part of KBP Drive-In, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the Managing Partner to lead daily operations and deliver the fast, friendly experience guests expect.

You will develop leaders, train and schedule staff, manage inventory and food safety, handle cash and expenses, and work toward future opportunities as a Managing Partner. Quick-service experience is preferred and you must be 18+.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Able to work in an active restaurant environment and safely use restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead training, scheduling, and team performance.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the Sonic brand.
