Job summary

Beck Suppliers is hiring an Assistant General Manager to support daily store operations and lead the team when the General Manager is absent. The AGM will reinforce standards, guide tasks, and ensure exceptional guest service across all shifts.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic computer/POS skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours. ServSafe Level 1 certification is required after hire and company supports it.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer and system skills (POS, email, reporting tools) this role.
• Must complete Level 1 ServSafe Certification after hire; company supports.

Responsibilities

• Acts as acting general manager when GM is not in store.
• Set and adjust shift priorities; communicate expectations for operations and guest service.
• Guide team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Reinforce company policies, safety practices, and maintain a respectful work environment.
• Support staffing needs; document performance concerns; partner with GM and HR as needed.
• Ensure smooth daily operations across retail, fuel, and kitchen; deliver WACS service.
• Maintain CABS and FREDDY standards.
• Complete cash handling, inventory, merchandising and gas price monitoring.
• Prepare reports accurately.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly.
