Job summary

CAVA in Denver is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead store operations and uphold our hospitality standards. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to set action plans, forecast labor, manage inventory, and develop hourly Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The AGM will focus on maintaining food quality, service standards, and profitability while fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in supervisory or management role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Able to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering and cost control.
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to Team Members.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards.
• Support with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Ensure food safety practices and team training.
• Perform administrative tasks like inventory management.
• Prepare reports and support action plans.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
• Other duties as assigned.
