Miss J’s Cafe in Lowell, MA is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations, ensure outstanding guest service, uphold food safety standards, and lead a motivated team. You will oversee front- and back-of-house during shifts, manage scheduling, training, and performance coaching, and help drive sales while controlling costs.

Availability includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or assistant management experience in the restaurant industry.

Responsabilités

• Operational Support: assist GM with daily operations, openings/closings, oversee dining room and kitchen during shifts.
• Staff Supervision: lead FOH/BOH, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching and promoting teamwork.
• Customer Service: monitor service quality, address guest concerns, uphold brand values and guest satisfaction.
• Financial Responsibilities: help achieve sales targets, monitor labor costs, reduce waste and review daily sales with GM for cost control.
